Between owning one, and managing multiple departments or companies over the years, one of the great many lessons I have learned includes how significantly good business relationships affect your bottom line.
Business relationships are not always dictated by cost and price, but rather by the service, support, and considerations of both parties. The cost of a service most certainly weighs in on how someone selects one vendor over another, especially when an organization first begins to look for a vendor to fulfill a business need. However I would rather pay more for the services of a vendor that I know will go above and beyond when faced with an unfortunate customer service situation, understanding that they affect my reputation and not only their own.
With this in mind, I am in need of some of your good business experiences. As a REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® I will need a number of different organizations or individuals that perform specific tasks and functions. I am looking for individuals or businesses that service the Central Florida area, and more specifically Clermont, and the surrounding Lake County, Osceola County, Orange County, Polk County areas. I would also like for them to have some experience with real estate, essentially preparing a home for selling. Some of the obvious ones are:
- Mortgage Lenders (those folks that loan the money for you to buy a home)
- Closing companies (handle a number of tasks including title, escrow, and attorney when you sell a home)
- Home Inspectors (when you buy a home, you want to know what you are getting)
- Home Appraisers (required for loans, although most people that sell a home do not appreciate their services)
Some of the other needs that are not as obvious when buying or selling a home include:
- Moving companies
- Maid Services and Cleaners
- Lawn and tree maintenance
- General Handyman
- AC/Heater Repair and maintenance
- Home Protection Services (Alarms)
- Plumbing and well services
- Real Estate Photography Services
- Pool Services
- Locksmiths
Many of the above services may be called upon by those that want to sell a home if they want to make small improvements to assist in getting better offers or selling in less time, or those that want to buy a home if they purchase a “handyman special” as a good deal.
Again, I am looking for individuals or businesses that service the Central Florida area, and more specifically Clermont, and the surrounding Lake County, Osceola County, Orange County, Polk County areas, with some experience working with real estate.
I appreciate any referrals. I do ask however, that if you know them personally, please state as such, and if you do not, but have had a exceptional experience with their services I would like to know that as well.
